Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure or explore nearby attractions like India Gate or Lotus Temple. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi → Agra → Varanasi (Overnight Train)

Travel to Agra and visit the iconic Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. In the evening, board an overnight train to Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India.

Day 3: Varanasi & Sarnath

Arrive in Varanasi and check in to your hotel. Visit Sarnath, where Buddha gave his first sermon. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony on the ghats. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 4: Varanasi → Bodhgaya

Enjoy a morning boat ride on the Ganges, then drive to Bodhgaya, the place of Buddha’s enlightenment. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple and the Bodhi Tree. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Day 5: Bodhgaya → Rajgir → Nalanda → Patna

Drive to Rajgir to visit Gridhakuta Hill and Venuvana. Continue to Nalanda to explore the ruins of the ancient Buddhist university. Proceed to Patna for overnight stay.

Day 6: Patna → Vaishali → Kushinagar

Drive to Vaishali, where Buddha gave his last sermon. Continue to Kushinagar, the site of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana. Visit the Nirvana Temple and Rambhar Stupa. Overnight in Kushinagar.

Day 7: Kushinagar → Lumbini (Nepal)

Cross the India-Nepal border and arrive in Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit the Maya Devi Temple and the Sacred Garden. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 8: Lumbini → Sravasti

Drive back to India and proceed to Sravasti, where Buddha spent many monsoons teaching. Visit Jetavana Monastery and Ananda Bodhi Tree. Overnight stay in Sravasti.

Day 9: Sravasti → Lucknow → Delhi (By Train or Flight)

Travel to Lucknow and board a train or flight to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 10: Departure from Delhi
